Finishing Up October Strong!

My Friday morning was wide open since I had the night off, and I didn’t hesitate to make any plans. There were a couple of t-shirts that I had my eye on a week ago when I went to Majesty, so a trip there was in the cards. This week was Caleese Coffee’s first birthday, and  so I planned accordingly. I also wanted to finish up October strong, and had plans to do cardio at the gym.

The first stop was up to West Point to enjoy a Birthday Latte at Caleese. They’ve become my other favorite coffee shop along with Cutie’s. I have yet to try out the Export location on the trail but it is on my agenda, as well as the trailer in Harrison City. I started another chapter in Love Felt Like This, and will be finished with the romance novel very soon. A nice pop of color along PA 130 was in my view as I enjoyed my latte and celebrated Caleese turning one. I budgeted my time wisely and thus, took off for Planet Fitness soon after.

I wanted to make sure I got an hour in, and I had a brilliant plan in place. 10-20-30, meaning the amount of time on each machine. I started with 10 minutes on the stationary bike, followed by 20 minutes on the Stairstepper, followed by a half-hour on the Elliptical. Overall, I burned almost 500 calories on my visit. That bought time until I went down to Majesty, as they didn’t open until 10am.

I didn’t stick around too long and found the Christmas T-Shirts that I wanted. It had been a while since I shopped regularly there, but October has brought a nice renaissance for me in my Christian walk.  I’ve studied the Bible regularly this year since May, most recently finishing the Gospels. I would like to read Isaiah as well as 1 and 2 Corinthians, taking December off as I do devotions for Christmas.

I started off my Thanksgiving tour a week earlier as I enjoyed a yummy Turkey Dinner at Eat’n Park. My friend had the Pittsburgh Turkey Sandwich, which also looked good. As this tour goes on, I may consider a return trip to Eat’n Park closer to the Thanksgiving holiday. Getgo was the last stop on the wonderful Friday morning out, as I was craving a Pilgrim. If you’re wondering about the cranberry sauce, the answer is yes. The sandwich also came with tots. It’s a tasty fall treat, however it is messy.

My wardrobe is becoming somewhat more manageable. However, work still needs to be done. It’s been a process, and it has neither been pretty nor has it been perfect. I started in February and did a little bit more in June. Here I am, almost to November, still going through stuff. I’ll be taking my used clothes to Goodwill early next week, and finally put my summer clothes away.

Christmas came early as I got out all of my t-shirts plus the two new ones I bought at Majesty this morning.
