This summer I began the process of making some changes in my wardrobe. We all go through it, and it’s that we have too much of one thing. If this is a Family Feud question, the number one answer would be clothes. Do hats count? I have too many books as well but that’s not a major issue… yet.
I emptied my drawers in June during my vacation and took bags of clothes to the local Goodwill. I’ll be doing that again in a few weeks as my wardrobe gets smaller.
Five years ago, I began to dress nontraditionally. While a lot of the clothes I’m getting rid are that, I’m keeping a few things for now. It’s been a slow process, but I’m starting to make the move back to traditional attire. Was it a mistake? No. It was more of an experiment wrapped in an enigma.
With changes happening this summer, my drawers have become a little more organized. My wardrobe will soon become a little more manageable.

Happy Lark Home Organizing is an home organization business based out of Allegheny County. They service mainly the communities in the Pittsburgh area. The girls behind this amazing business have appeared on Pittsburgh Today Live. Following them on Instagram, I’ve also learned a few things as I’ve done some resets this summer in my own personal life.
One of those is to put clothes in the box to give away when you buy new apparel. As I will be shopping this week, I’ll keep that in mind as I prepare to donate some more clothes.
Also, small resets done during the day make everything easier and saves headaches later on.
