“Own who you are. There’s nothing more beautiful.” — Paula Mason aka Mom

Own who you are. There’s nothing more beautiful.
I’m grateful for the comments I receive on social media over my outfits and my bag. But no matter how many times one tells me how great I look in that jacket or how much they love my crossbody, what matters is that it makes me happy or that I’m being someone who makes me happy. Don’t base your happiness on other people’s opinions whether good or bad.
Those negative comments you see on your feed or hear from a colleague or total stranger? Take them and use them to lift yourself up. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Last night I pulled up this picture and told myself how great I looked in this cropped jacket, blue polo, black jeans, and my cute Coach bag. That’s all the approval you need sometimes but compliments are nice too.
Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself, “I love the person I am.”
