Contest season kicked off today in Oakdale and in the North Hills. Best of luck to the winners who are advancing to their Division Contests in Oakdale and Cranberry Township next month. Iโll be starting my rounds with the contests next Saturday as I head off to State College.
I spent part of my Saturday with Katie and Annabelle. We played some Super Mario Party on the Nintendo Switch. We had a hard fought game as our characters split the 16 mini games. Annabelle would have been pleased if she beat me 16-0. Being seven, she took losing not so well.
I also planned tomorrowโs agenda for Achievers. We have a great slate of speakers scheduled. We are trying to get a fire burning ๐ฅ and grow the membership base once again. We made Select Distinguished last year. I wanted to get us to Presidentโs Distinguished but I took things for granted. Now, with the year more than halfway over, Iโm going to take things a little more seriously now as I try to lead the club to success.
Our meeting place where we have our monthly Achievers meeting is holding a chili ๐ถ and soup ๐ cook off. Iโm going to take part in that and donate some money to the church. Iโm doing it as a way to thank Pastor Tim for letting us have the church. Our club meets at the United Presbyterian Church in Blairsville.

I have a nice stylish outfit put together for tomorrowโs meeting. We have a new member joining our chapter. Her name is Michelle Teague. Sheโs part of our Greensburg chapter. She serves as the Vice President Education. Along with her husband Jim, she is serving as co-chair for the upcoming Spring Conference. She also likes my blog and loves my stylish attire.
With Michelle joining the club, we will have a strong Greensburg connection in the chapter. I plan to renew in March to keep my membership going both in Greensburg and in Achievers. Iโm proud that my home club has some clout in the advanced chapter.

Tonight I was being my best me as I served on the Front Line Ministry at Cornerstone. I help out in the Welcome Center. I greet everyone who comes into church and answer any questions that they may have. I greet them with a smile ๐ and make their day as they come and get fed Godโs Word. I love our FLM crew and Alvin does a great job as our leader.

We wrapped up our Advice for Aliens series and were blessed with great music. Our worship team never ceases to amaze. Pastor Donn fed us well with a great sermon and plenty of scripture along the way. Canโt wait to learn of the next sermon series.
Time to close off the blog as I get ready to order my dinner at the Pourhouse. Busy night tonight and sometimes I just love the nightlife. Itโs a Saturday night so why not?
Remember to live your best life. Be your best you. ROCK out because you are worth it. Make this coming week lovely and remember when life happens, coffee helps. Enjoy your Saturday night and drive safe.
Bye everyone. โค๏ธ you. ๐
